# HTTPResponse.json() method

#### Signature:

  json(): Promise<any>;

```

**Returns:**

Promise&lt;any&gt;

Promise which resolves to a JSON representation of response body.

## Remarks

This method will throw if the response body is not parsable via `JSON.parse`.
