# ElementHandle.boundingBox() method

This method returns the bounding box of the element (relative to the main frame), or `null` if the element is not visible.

#### Signature:

```typescript
class ElementHandle {
  boundingBox(): Promise<BoundingBox | null>;
}
```

**Returns:**

Promise&lt;[BoundingBox](./puppeteer.boundingbox.md) \| null&gt;
