# Frame.focus() method

Focuses the first element that matches the `selector`.

**Signature:**

  focus(selector: string): Promise<void>;

```

## Parameters

**Returns:**

Promise&lt;void&gt;

## Exceptions

Throws if there's no element matching `selector`.
