# Page.authenticate() method

Provide credentials for `HTTP authentication`.

#### Signature:

```typescript
class Page {
  authenticate(credentials: Credentials): Promise<void>;
}
```

## Parameters

**Returns:**

Promise&lt;void&gt;

## Remarks

To disable authentication, pass `null`.
