# Page.setCacheEnabled() method

Toggles ignoring cache for each request based on the enabled state. By default, caching is enabled.

**Signature:**

```typescript
class Page {setCacheEnabled(enabled?: boolean): Promise<void>;}
```

## Parameters

|  enabled | boolean | <i>(Optional)</i> sets the <code>enabled</code> state of cache |

Promise&lt;void&gt;
