# Tracing.stop() method

Stops a trace started with the `start` method.

#### Signature:

  stop(): Promise<Buffer | undefined>;

```

**Returns:**

Promise&lt;Buffer \| undefined&gt;

Promise which resolves to buffer with trace data.
