# HTTPRequest.headers() method

**Signature:**

```typescript
class HTTPRequest {
  headers(): Record<string, string>;
}
```

**Returns:**

Record&lt;string, string&gt;

an object with HTTP headers associated with the request. All header names are lower-case.
